Revenge of the Scientist - The original concept film (2006)

Revenge of the Scientist

This production was originally filmed in 2005-2006 under the title "Dr. Telekinesis and the Birth of the Worp Spider" and was unfinished and unedited at the time. The project had to be stopped about 1/3 of the way through principal photography for a variety of unrelated reasons. This is an incomplete film and should be viewed as a "demo" version. A taste of things to come.

The surviving footage from the failed "Dr. Telekinesis" project was  resurrected and reedited by Ken Mars in the Summer of 2009. This version gives you a sense of what the film would have looked like, had it been completed. The footage is very dark because of the technological limitations of the time.

"I did my best to make a high concept, zero-budget, Science Fiction epic. I had no money, very little equipment, no technical help, not enough time and after 8 months of production, I failed. Working on this version of "Revenge of the Scientist"  has renewed my faith and resolve to make a feature film. I have an entirely different set of circumstances before me today. Technology has finally caught up to my budget and expectations. The Scientist WILL have his revenge." - Ken Mars 9/09

A new remake/remodel version of this story is currently in

pre-production and is slated to shoot in the Summer of 2010.
